Ghana’s Sherif Ghali has been nominated as the Chairperson of the young entrepreneurs’ advocacy group, the Commonwealth Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs (CAYE) Africa. The CAYE works to strengthen and support the ambitions of young entrepreneurs in Commonwealth regions.
Sherif Ghali is a senior business executive specialising in business development, formulating entrepreneurship policies, and business advocacy. He has a wealth of private-sector leadership experience, an entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of success over a decade. He is the co-founder and CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs, the most extensive network of young entrepreneurs in Ghana and the Co-Chairperson of the Ghana Startup Bill.
He is the founder of GhaTech Solutions Limited, a technology company, and TIL Limited, a transport management company. He is widely admired as Ghana’s Ambassador for Youth Entrepreneurship, owing to his unrivalled passion for developing young entrepreneurs. Furthermore, he serves on several private and public boards and committees, including representing young entrepreneurs in the private sector and participating in Ghana’s Economic Management Team meetings led by the Vice President.
The CAYE-Africa was established in May 2019 to merge the work and impact of former networks into a unified alliance for the Africa region. The coalition seeks to champion young entrepreneurs’ cause at the local, national, regional and international levels through its engagement with governments, the media, the public, and other relevant stakeholders.
