Health Direct Global, the digital healthcare infrastructure platform that connects patients to healthcare providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies, has been selected as one of eight global ventures to participate in the Halcyon Incubator in Washington, DC.
The program is designed to accelerate the impact-driven future of businesses that aim to drive equity and inclusivity in the workplace and society. During the Halcyon Residential Fellowship, diverse fellows receive free residency and workspace training, investment readiness, business fundamentals, impact and leadership, mentorship, robust support from business consultants, and a living stipend to develop their entrepreneurial vision.
Health Direct Global is the cofounders (Kelvin Ashie and Amos Narh) solution to the flaws in the healthcare system after Kevin’s horrific experience of losing his father due to inefficiencies in the healthcare system. The startup provides a digital healthcare infrastructure platform connecting patients to healthcare providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies. Its flagship product, Carely, enables users to access timely and affordable healthcare while building critical personal medical data history that helps them enjoy a modernized healthcare experience outside the hospital walls.
The company integrates with healthcare industry stakeholders to provide value-added products and services such as home care and remote care, physiotherapy, microinsurance, prescription medication, and other medical consumables tailor-made to provide an end-to-end healthcare experience, especially for the low-to-middle-income population.
