Reign Rum, the Ghana-based luxury rum brand, has been shortlisted for the Channel 4 and Lloyds Banking Group Black in Business initiative. From a pool of 1,000 applications, Reign Rum earned a spot among the final 30 black-owned businesses.

Designed by Channel 4 in partnership with Lloyds Bank, the Black in Business initiative rewards up to five businesses ready to scale through the power of TV advertising and mentorship. Each will receive £100,000 of TV advertising on Channel 4, the creation of their TV commercial, plus six months of tailored marketing and business mentorship powered by DOES to help accelerate their growth.

Founded by Amma Mensah, Reign is the world’s 1st multi-award-winning African luxury rum brand from Ghana. The brand is distilled on a 2,000-acre, certified organic farm and distillery in Ghana. Reign is a powerful recognition of African royalty, culture, and values. From grass to glass, the company exists to empower the farmers, distillers, and consumers of regal nectar.
