Chatbots Africa has been selected to partake in the Google Startup Accelerator: AI First program. This program features about 10–15 startups that come together to address specific technical challenges that improve growth in their businesses.

Chatbots Africa is a company that provides a platform for SMEs to use chatbots on social media platforms by giving them DIY (do it yourself) chatbot tools to automate their customer engagements and business operations. The company was selected, among others, for using AI to steer the challenges in Africa while finding solutions globally.

The program features a 10-week immersive accelerator journey where the startups will use Google’s expertise in AI and be granted $350,000 in Google Cloud credits. The startups will also get mentorship sessions, specialized technical insight, and extensive networking opportunities.
