The Western Union Foundation Fellowship is a venture and leadership accelerator program for entrepreneurs and community leaders from and working with highly marginalized, refugee, and forcibly displaced communities around the world. This online and international program aims to provide these young business people and leaders the knowledge and expertise they need to broaden access to employment opportunities, create useful networks and resources, and improve their local communities.

The Watson Institute recently revealed its chosen list of entrepreneurs under the Western Union Foundation Fellowship. About 46 candidates were selected from various countries all around the world, and representing Ghana is Gloria Niiquaye of COMESO.

COMESO is a social impact company that enhances how individuals can access healthcare by giving them a safe and convenient platform. To date, the business has assisted 250 people with their pharmacy medical payment transactions, assuring access to critical healthcare services while evaluating how well their platform works. The business has so far secured $12,000 in funding to help it with its endeavors.
