UNICEF StartUp Lab Accelerator Program has selected 25 tech-enabled companies for the fourth cohort, which kicked off within the week. The early-stage companies are addressing challenges in education, health, climate action, food and agriculture, finance, circular economy, frontier and assistive technologies, and mobility.
The programme is led by UNICEF in Ghana, supported by KOICA and implemented by MEST Africa.
The program will provide intense, hands-on, practical business acceleration support, mentorship, networking opportunities, and access to up to GHS 30,000 in prototyping funding. Qualified companies will also receive dedicated assistance in achieving recognition as a UN-recognized Digital Public Good.

- TECHAiDE provides technology solutions to enhance teaching, learning, and testing, particularly in Science, English, Math, and ICT.

- Craft Education offers tech-enabled therapy for children with learning delays in Africa.
- Muna Kalati is a digital platform dedicated to the promotion of African children’s literature by providing access to culturally-relevant resources.
- Nikasemo develops solutions to help basic schools integrate technology into teaching, learning, and school management.
- AkooBooks Audio is digital publisher and streaming platform for Black/ African audiobooks.
- Chalkboard Education is a mobile-first learning management system designed specifically for underserved communities around the world.
- RiviaCo operates a network of primary care clinics offering high-quality and affordable in-person and virtual doctor consultations, medication and lab diagnosis services.
- Geia Technologies works to strengthen coordination and collaboration standards across the African healthcare industry, to reduce errors and gaps in information.
