Two Ghanaian tech startups, Aquantuo and Metaschool, have made it to the Top 50 finalists for Africa’s Business Heroes (ABH) 2024. This recognition places them among Africa’s most promising entrepreneurs and changemakers.

The 2024 ABH Top 50 features a diverse group, spanning 14 sectors and 18 countries, with 40% female and 20% francophone representation. Agriculture remains a dominant sector, along with strong showings in education and healthcare, reflecting ongoing trends. The diversity among finalists highlights ABH’s dedication to inclusivity, showing increased participation from various regions and demographics. This broad representation speaks to the growing influence of changemakers driving both local and global impact.

Founded by Clement Owusu-Donkor in 2016, Aquantuo simplifies global shipping by connecting international markets to African consumers. With a deep understanding of Africa’s logistical challenges, Aquantuo offers services like air and sea freight, personalized shopping, door-to-door delivery, and logistics solutions tailored for businesses of all sizes.
