Having recently surpassed $1 billion in cross-border payment transactions, WeWire will benefit from the three-month program, gaining access to tools, industry connections, and expert guidance to scale its innovative solutions further.

mPharma, Africa’s leading patient-centered, technology-driven healthcare company, has announced a strategic partnership with Nectar Beauty Hub, a prominent player in Nigeria’s beauty distribution and retail sector. The partnership between mPharma and Nectar Beauty Hub highlights their shared commitment to delivering a world-class experiential retail chain that seamlessly integrates healthcare, beauty, and wellness. Together, they aim to expand operations to over 300 retail facilities across Nigeria, serving more than 500,000 customers monthly. Ghana launches Climate Prosperity Plan at the United Nations Climate Change Conference.
At the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Baku, the government unveiled an ambitious $105 million Climate Prosperity Plan aimed at driving sustainable economic growth. Expected to deliver an economic gain of $76 billion by 2050, the plan includes the establishment of Africa’s Net-Zero Industrial Park, powered entirely by renewable energy. Situated at Akosombo near the Volta River, the park is designed to attract eco-conscious industries, setting a benchmark for green industrialization across the continent. Initially focused on hosting a textile company, the park will now host a diverse range of green enterprises, including those specializing in recycled materials and low-emission manufacturing, fostering sustainable practices and a circular economy.

Brij Technologies launches currency swap marketplace to facilitate seamless cross-border trade across Africa.
Brij Technologies Inc. has launched BrijX, a B2B currency swap platform that partners with banks, telcos, financial service providers, and payment processors. By integrating its enterprise APIs, BrijX enables real-time currency exchange, streamlining payments and money transfers across Africa. The platform has successfully opened the Ghana-Nigeria corridor, allowing subscribers of participating telcos and financial institutions to transfer money seamlessly between the two countries without relying on foreign exchange intermediaries.
