Farmerline CEO Alloysius Attah has been appointed Director At-Large at Heifer International, a global development organization focused on ending hunger and poverty. In this role, Attah joins other board members in shaping the organization’s strategic vision and impact.

Operating in 19 countries across Africa, Asia, and the Americas, Heifer International supports smallholder farmers in sustainably addressing hunger and poverty within their communities while promoting environmental stewardship. The organization applies a food systems approach to help farmers increase their income and create economic opportunities for rural women, youth, and Indigenous populations.
Alloysius Attah cofounded Farmerline in 2013 to create lasting wealth for farmers and local agribusinesses gloablly. He leads the company’s vision and strategic partnerships with over 3,000 partners across 50 countries. The company has served and digitized 2.2 million farmers in the last decade, and TIME magazine has recognized its Mergdata platform as one of the 100 Best Inventions of 2019. He has been lauded by organizations and world leaders such as former IMF boss Christine Lagarde, World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leader & Tech Pioneer, CBNC Africa’s Young Business Leader Award, Bloomberg New Economy Catalyst, and the WIRED World in 2024 for his work.
