Farm 360, a Ghana-based agtech focused on restoration-linked agricultural supply chains, has secured a USD 1 million investment from Barka Capital following the company’s achievement of more than USD 1 million in annual revenue. The financing marks a significant milestone not only for the company but also for the broader commercial case for landscape restoration-driven business models in Africa.
The investment was led by Barka Capital, a climate-focused impact investor known for backing businesses operating at the intersection of agriculture, natural resources, and clean energy. The transaction combines USD 500,000 in equity from Barka Capital Fund I LP with a USD 500,000 working capital facility from Barka Debt SPV Ltd, alongside a technical assistance grant valued at USD 20,000. The blended structure reflects the investor’s strategy of pairing growth capital with operational support to accelerate scaling while managing risk.
Founded in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, Farm 360 has grown into a diversified agribusiness operating across tree crops, including cocoa, cashew, mango, and coconut, as well as livestock, aquaculture, and agro processing. The company currently works with 953 digitally registered smallholder farmers across Ghana. Its model integrates commercial farming, farmer aggregation, and land restoration, positioning restoration activities as a core economic driver rather than a peripheral sustainability initiative.
To date, Farm 360 has planted more than 108,000 trees across 340 hectares and created over 150 jobs, demonstrating how restoration-linked agriculture can generate both environmental and economic returns. Crossing the USD 1 million revenue mark in 2024 provided validation that the model can achieve commercial traction while advancing climate resilience and rural livelihoods.
The new working capital facility will support the procurement of seedlings, fertilisers, and agricultural produce, enabling Farm 360 to expand its farmer network and meet rising market demand. The accompanying grant will fund impact monitoring and verification capacity, an increasingly critical component for companies operating in climate and restoration-driven value chains.
“This partnership strengthens our ability to deliver sustainable, traceable agricultural commodities while supporting farmers with the inputs and systems needed to increase productivity and resilience.”— Kenneth Nelson, CEO & Co-Founder, Farm 360
“We are excited to be backing companies like Farm 360 — businesses doing the hard, essential work of restoring Africa’s landscapes while building real commercial value.
