The cofounder & CEO of the edtech startup Blossom Academy, Jeph Acheampong, has been selected as part of the fifth cohort of the year-long leadership development programme.
Jeph co-founded Blossom Academy, an accelerator fuelling the future of work by creating a pathway for Africa’s talents from diverse experiences and educational backgrounds to reach their potential as world-class technology and management professionals. Over the years, the academy has partnered with various funders to train hundreds of youth across Africa at zero cost. Before co-founding Blossom, Jeph helped build the unicorn startup Esusu Financial, a venture-backed fintech leveraging data solutions to empower tenants across America and improve property performance. Since its inception, Esusu has partnered with multifamily and single-family owners and operators that cover millions of rental units across all 50 states.
Three other Ghanaians selected as part of the cohort include Theo Boateng, Director of Operations, Expansion and Partnerships at Saha Global; Yawa Hansen-Quao, the Founder of the Leading Ladies’ Network and Anthonia Ayamga, the Senior Development Planning Officer, Bono Regional Coordinating Council.
The fifth cohort of Acumen Fellows in West Africa comprises 20 leaders addressing the region’s most challenging issues of poverty and injustice.
