Anthony Takyi has joined Treepz Ghana as the Country Manager, bringing a wealth of experience in leading sales and commercial operations for tech startups across Africa.
Over the last five years, Anthony has worked with leading tech companies in the US, Europe, SEA, and Africa in Blockchain, CaaS, Credit Scoring, Sharing Economy, and Education. Before Treepz, Anthony led Corporate Sales & Partnerships at the protech startup, RenMo, enabling tenants in Africa to rent decent homes and pay monthly. He has also worked with companies such as Bolt, Termii and Begini.
Treepz, the bus-hailing platform, gives commuters access to comfortable, reliable, and safe transport. The company partners with vehicle rental brands to reimagine shared mobility and personal movement, providing innovative and convenient solutions for individuals and businesses.
The company acquired stabus, the Ghana-based mobility startup, to enter the Ghana market. In 2022, the startup hit the one million bookings milestone across three African countries and recently extended its operations to Kenya.
